This all original DeSoto is presented in Holly Red with a contrasting Pearl White striping and a red and gray interior. The well preserved exterior of this Fireflite is in great condition and shows some patina, hinting at the history behind the car. Inward the seats, dash, door panels, and trim are all in nice condition as shown in our photos. Features like AM radio, power steering, power brakes, and push button automatic transmission.
Borrowed from Chrysler, the Fireflite has a 361 cid V8 that produces 305 horsepower and 400 pounds of torque and is backed by a pushbutton, Torqueflite automatic transmission. The original motor is intact and runs flawlessly. Serviced impeccably through its life, the Fireflite runs through all gears well, as well as stops fast and correct. Suspension is firm and all options operate as new.
