Dispatched on June 24th, 1960 and sold to a customer in the Los Angeles area, this Healey spent most of its time. Fast forward 50 years, and the car ended up with the Austin Healey experts at Fourintune Restorations, where the car was just completely stripped down to bare metal before being completely restored. Once the fabricators got the body laser straight, the Old English White was laid down evenly, then polished to a mirror finish. All panel gaps are better than new and seals are fresh as well. The chrome work across the car was all redone to perfection, and all individual components were finished in the original style. Inward, the door panels and dash are simply wrapped in black leather, while the seats are wrapped in black leather and contrasting white piping, perfectly complementing the exterior paint scheme.
The legendary 2,912 cc straight six engine, derived from BMC C-Series engines, is adorned with twin SU Carburetors and makes 132 HP and 167 foot pounds. The 2.9 is backed by a 4 speed manual with overdrive, which made a properly equipped Healey capable of up 114 MPH!! Driving this Mark I is truly a pleasure thanks to its well sorted restoration by one of the best Healey shops around.
