Having gone through a recent rotisserie restoration to concours standards, this rarely optioned GTO is simply stunning. Finished in its original color of Champagne Metallic with a black Cordova top, all seals, glass, and trim are in perfect condition as well. Under the hood is where the venerable 400 V8 resides, fitted with the trouble free single four barrel carburetor and backed by the 3 speed automatic, adorned with the Hurst Dual Gate, His & Hers shifter. With this setup, the GTO is rated at 335 horsepower and 431 pounds of torque. This frame off restored car starts right up and settles into an ominous growl from its dual exhaust. Throw it in gear and the engine roars to life while the transmission shifts effortlessly through all gears. Throttle response is quick and handling is effortless, with the optional Wonder Touch power steering and brakes.
