Underhood, the venerable 239 cubic-inch "Flathead" Ford V-8 engine delivers upgraded power with a set of Offenhauser cylinder heads, a twin-carburetor intake system, and a great-sounding dual exhaust. Other highlights include a 3-speed manual transmission, plus such desirable features and amenities as a radio, heater, dual mirrors, and turn-signal indicators. Mechanical attention during 2018 included rebuilding of the carburetors and radiator, installation of new spark plugs, and replacement of the brakes.
