This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible is finished in Red over a White interior with Red trim. It is in good condition with 56k miles and is equipped with the 365ci V8 and Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Options include 6-way Power Seats, Front and Rear Power Windows, Power Steering, Electric Convertible Top, Pushbutton Radio, and more. In 1956, the Biarritz Convertible and Seville Coupe were introduced as the pair in the Eldorado line. The Eldorado could be easily distinguished from its close relative, the Series 62 by a completely redesigned rear end and the elimination of the Cadillac hood ornament. The Biarritz and Seville scripted logos sat elegantly along the tail of the rear fenders. Overall, the 57 was more distinguishable from other Cadillacs than any Eldorado since its inception. 365ci V8 with 300hp was offered with automatic transmission, and an optional 2x4bbl carburetor pushed horsepower to 325. Only 1800 1957 Biarritz Convertible would be produced. This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz was purchased by a local collector in 2005 at which time the restored red interior was refreshed and replaced with the combination white/red interior that is presently on the vehicle as is it today. Overall this Biarritz is in good condition, and is one that would be a pleasure to both drive and show locally. This is truly a vehicle that drives as well as it looks. With only 1800 produced, these Biarritz Convertibles retain a solid interest in the collector car community, one that is poised for increased value as more and more of these vehicles disappear.
