1967 Cadillac Eldorado, finished in the original red exterior and black interior. With only 67k original miles, this pampered rust-free original coupe has had one professional quality respray years ago that still looks superb today. The interior remains both original and excellent as well. Factory options include power seats, power windows, and air conditioning with climate control, and all equipment is in good working order. This is a gorgeous Eldorado that has been obviously well cared-for throughout its life. The Eldorado was radically redesigned for 1967. Intended for the burgeoning personal luxury car market, it was a "personal" Cadillac sharing the E-body with the Oldsmobile Toronado, which had been introduced the previous year. Cadillac adopted the Toronado's Unified Powerplant Package and front-wheel drive. The Eldorado used a standard Cadillac 429 V8 with a modified Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission. The Eldorado's crisp styling, initiated by GM styling chief Bill Mitchell, was distinctive and unique, appearing more angluar than the rounded Toronado. This Eldorado was ahead of its time both stylistically and mechanically. Entering the car and you are reminded of future generations of the classic 70s Cadillacs, but while still retaining classic styling of the 60s. Turn the key, and the engine starts right up. Power steering aids you in those slow speed parking situations, and the ride quality and suspension are everything you expect from classic American luxury.
