As the final expression of the second-generation 1963-67 Corvette, the 1967 design is regarded by Corvette experts and enthusiasts as the best of the breed with its refined styling and many high-performance options. This multiple award-winning 1967 Corvette Convertible is certainly one of the finest.

Power is delivered by the top street engine available from Chevrolet for 1967, the RPO L71 Turbo-Jet 427 V-8 with wild solid-lifter camshaft and Tri-Power intake mounting triple Holley two-barrel carburetors, factory-rated at 435 HP. Power is delivered by a Muncie M21 close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission. Factory-finished in Goodwood Green over Saddle Vinyl upholstery, the Corvettes factory options include A01 Tinted Glass, U69 Pushbutton AM/FM Radio, K66 Transistor Ignition, N14 Side Dual Exhaust, F41 Special Suspension and 3.55:1 G81 Positraction Axle. Following assembly, the Corvette was delivered to New York Chevrolet dealer Yonkers Motors Corp. and sold to the first owner.

On November 22, 1968, the current owner acquired the Corvette from the original owner. He used it for only a few years and placed it into storage until mid-2001 when it was sent to the experts at Nabers Brothers in Houston, Texas for a total concours-quality restoration. Following completion in 2003, the restorers showed the Corvette and that year, it earned the top three awards possible in the Corvette world: the Gold Spinner Award at the Chevy Vettefest, Bloomington Gold certification and Top Flight from the NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society). Achievement of these three awards resulted in the coveted Triple Crown the ultimate award of Corvette excellence, also earned during 2003.

The Corvette was only driven on and off its trailer during its three show outings and it has been kept in climate-controlled storage for the owner at The Last Detail since 2003. The restoration remains fresh and the car retains fully matching numbers. Remaining in exceptional condition throughout as one of the finest anywhere today, this Corvette includes a window sticker copy, original Invoice and Bill of Sale, a 1968-dated letter confirming transfer from the original owner to the current owner and most recently, the NCRS Shipping Data Report. Original factory documents include the Owners Protection Plan booklet, Owners Manual, Wheel Trim Ring Instruction Sheet and AM/FM Radio Operating Instructions booklet.

Recognized and documented as one of the finest restored Corvettes in existence, this multiple award-winning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette 427/425 Convertible is fresh and sharp in presentation. As now offered for sale, it stands ready to take center stage in the finest of collections anywhere.
