GM Hand-Built Aluminum ZL1 454, #99 of 200 ever Produced Granada Gold Exterior with Black Bucket Seat Interior Multiple Award Winner and Popular Hot Rodding Magazine Feature Car Beefed up Super T10 4 Speed Trans and Ford 9 Rear End with 3:23 Gears Loaded with Aftermarket High Performance Parts, Wilwood, CalTrac The Dramatic Story of this 1967 Chevrolet Nova began when its current owner decided to do a modest restoration to his car. Once the process began things quickly changed when he located an extremely rare GM Performance Parts Hand-Built All Aluminum 496cui Big Block V8 with a Ram-Jet Induction System. The entire restoration revolved around building a Nova that was capable of handling all of that horsepower and still could be driven anywhere. After 2 years of construction and a $160K investment emerged what we currently have to offer. This car was completely stripped; every panel received meticulous attention and was finished in a PPG Granada Gold. The body and gaps are straight and well aligned. What hasnt been painted has been either powder coated or Chromed. All glass, moldings, emblems and bezels are new and the chrome pieces have been re-plated to show quality finishes. The fully customized Black interior features bucket seats and a carbon fiber dash fitted with AutoMeter Carbon Fiber Gauges. A custom sound system with 6 speakers was installed. To say that this car is a beast is an understatement. It is powered by the ZL1 454cui V8 that has been professionally built up to 496 cui and putting out 610hp. A Super T-10 4 Speed was custom built to handle the incredible amount of power which is passed thru a High Performance Ford 9 rear end with 3:23 gears. The highly detailed undercarriage features suspension and brake parts from Heidts, QA1, Cal-Trac and Willwood most of which are chrome or stainless pieces.
