BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF PONTIAC'S "GREAT ONE"
Returning for 1967, Pontiac's wildly successful Le Mans-based GTO featured select styling updates and numerous functional upgrades. It also continued for the second model year as a unique Pontiac series. Engines were upsized for '67 to 400 CI with a 335-HP unit standard and 255-HP "economy" unit optional, plus the 360-HP 400 HO (High Output) A choice of close-ratio 4-speed manual or Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmissions was available, with a heavy duty Safe-T-Track rear end delivering the power to the road. A fully integrated high-performance car with class, image, and the substance underneath to back it all up, the GTO sparked competitors from virtually all American makes, yet outsold them all once again for 1967.
Documented by PHS Automotive Services, this stunning 1967 Pontiac GTO convertible retains the matching numbers engine and transmission and benefits from a show-quality restoration to the factory original colors of Regimental Red with a Black power convertible top and matching interior. Features and options are many, including air conditioning, power steering, power front disc/rear drum brakes, power windows, Rallye gauges, a remote mirror, and floor mats. Pontiac's handsome and correct Rally I wheels mount BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
