Introduced in 1968, the refined new XJ6 ushered in a new era at Jaguar as the famous marques only sedan in its newly simplified model line. Featuring a body design that would assume iconic status with relatively minor updates through 1992, the XJ6 was produced along three distinct Series, with power delivered by variations of Jaguars legendary XK DOHC 6-cylinder engine and 5.3-liter V-12.
