1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL. Only 56,000 original miles! Black pearl/burgundy leather/black top. One owner. Full power including windows and door locks. Automatic air conditioning. Original Becker audio system. Beautiful condition. The 1971-1989 SL series vehicle was the longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz and has become somewhat of a modern classic. A number of engines would be found in the SL series over the years including the 2.8L straight-6 found in the agile and sought after 280 SL. However, the most powerful engine to be placed in the R107 body type, the 5.6L V8, was introduced with the 560 SL in 1986, and produced 238hp with 287 ft/lbs of torque. The 560 would be the final SL variant, and would only be produced in the US and Australia, where the markets for high powered luxury vehicles were much larger and the roads much longer and straighter. Our 560 SL has had only one owner from new and has traveled a scant 56,000 miles. Additionally, it has the original factory hardtop and correct alloy wheels. Dealer maintained from new and thoroughly inspected by the TLD staff, this beautiful SL is ready for many more years of enjoyment. Carfax documented as well.
