One of the most interesting and capable of all iterations of Porsche's 993-generation 911 is the comprehensively uprated, 4-wheel drive Carrera 4S, introduced for the 1996 model year. Powered by a naturally aspirated flat-six engine developing 282 factory-rated horsepower with Porsche's innovative VarioRam intake system and paired with a simpler and lighter version of Porsche's all-wheel-drive system, the Carrera 4S shared its wide rear fenders, bumpers, huge, red-painted 4-piston brake calipers, 18-inch Turbo-look alloy wheels and ultra-low profile tires with the 911 Turbo.
