Launched in 1969 with race-inspired performance, handling and image, Pontiacs Firebird-based Trans Am enjoyed continuous production from launch through 2002 along four generations. The final Firebird series debuted for 1993 and as before, the Trans Am was the top model, available in both coupe and convertible body styles.
